Shaderlight Cloud Rendering scoops Best in Show award at AIA

Shaderlight Cloud Rendering powered by Limitless Computing is a new innovation not yet launched but it's already wowing the architectural world. At the recent American Institute of Architects (AIA) National Convention and Exposition in Washington DC, Architosh - the online publication devoted to Mac, iOS CAD and 3D software applications - named Shaderlight Cloud Rendering as a runner up in its Best of Show Awards.

Shaderlight deserves recognition as the first cloud-based rendering solution for Google's popular SketchUp rendering program," wrote Anthony Frausto-Robledo, publisher and editor-in-chief of Architosh. "With this unique solution, SketchUp users can produce photo-realistic renders of their models at up to 5x speeds faster than on the desktop and up to 128x faster at animations."

Shaderlight Cloud Rendering powered by Limitless Computing combines the highest quality rendering from Shaderlight, the leading interactive plug-in to Google SketchUp, and proven Cloud technology from Limitless Computing - delivering the fastest and most effective workflow for SketchUp users.

It frees up desktop computers for other work, enabling users to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and offers a low-cost alternative to rendering scenes and animations in-house, pricing starts from under $10.

Shaderlight installs as a plug-in and provides simple, built-in photo-realistic rendering from within SketchUp. It runs on Mac and Windows.

Graham Wylie, CEO at ArtVPS said: "It's fantastic that the benefits of this new innovation are already being recognised. Shaderlight Cloud Rendering enables architects and designers to deliver the highest quality renders, in very little time and at a low cost – meeting the needs of all busy practices today and those who simply can not afford the significant hardware investment required to deliver these results. We're looking forward to seeing this innovative new product transforming practices for SketchUp users going forwards."

This revolutionary new product will be available in June. To register for more information, sign up at http://www.artvps.com/index.php/products/shaderlight/shaderlight-for-cloud-computing
