The company launches a V-Ray Challenge, special promotions and an anniversary website.
Sofia, Bulgaria, 29 May 2012 – In 2012 Chaos Group celebrates 10 years since the first release of V-Ray. Inspired by artists' imaginative creations and the need for faster and photorealistic rendering, in 2002 Vlado Koylazov and Peter Mitev launched V-Ray for 3ds Max. Ten years later the Chaos Group portfolio comprises a comprehensive set of rendering solutions for the visualization industry.
"We are proud to know that over the past ten years more than 20 000 users have used V-Ray to create mind-blowing images and award winning projects. This drives our development even further to bring more innovative solutions to the CG community",
said Peter Mitev, CEO of Chaos Group.
To celebrate this important milestone, Chaos Group has created a special anniversary website where V-Ray fans across the globe can experience V-Ray in various ways.
We invite you to spend some time with us and go back in time to check out how V-Ray was born, take a look at photos from our key events and watch our latest demo reels. Those willing to share their feedback can take part in the Chaos Group Survey and be included in a prize draw to win a V-Ray license or an anniversary T-Shirt. We've also set up a promo corner where we will post hot offers and great discounts for the rest of the year.
All V-Ray enthusiasts are encouraged to take part in our Anniversary Challenge where in partnership with CGSociety we invite artists to create a personal, historical or fictional Decisive Moment. Entrants are competing for a great prize package, which we've put together with our partners BOXX, NVIDIA, MAXON, 3DCONNEXION, CGWORKSHOPS and BALLISTIC.
